Tennessee Vols gain commitment from graduate transfer kicker Ryan Tice from Michigan

Tennessee has picked up a commitment from former Michigan kicker Ryan Tice.

Tice confirmed to USA TODAY NETWORK - Tennessee on Monday that he's pledged to the Vols. He'll be a walk-on graduate transfer with two years of eligibility remaining.

Tice, a Saline, Michigan, native, was 10 for 10 on extra-point attempts during the 2016 season. He missed his lone field-goal attempt. He also kicked off three times.

Tice didn't appear in any games last season.

The Vols used two kickers in 2017, Aaron Medley and Brent Cimaglia. Medley was a senior. Cimaglia is a rising sophomore.

Cimaglia went 8 for 13 on field-goal attempts as a freshman and converted all three of his extra-point attempts.
