Real Estate Show: Is stock market affecting Naples real estate?

Free real estate seminar

Naples’ top real estate professionals are holding a free public seminar to help homebuyers and sellers avoid making common but harmful mistakes. According to local Realtor Jim York, who will be one of the professionals at the seminar, there are five errors that buyers and sellers frequently make. Step-by-step instruction will be covered. York will be joined by Donald Ross Jr., a real estate attorney; Chris Mitchell, an insurance expert; and Robert Slaughter, a mortgage professional. The seminar will held from 10 a.m. to noon March 15 with lunch following in Talis Park's Golf Club, 16475 Talis Park Drive, Naples. The seminar is for buyers and sellers. Realtors not invited. Downsizing made easy class

Naples’ Premier Professional Organizer and Naples Daily News Get Organized columnist Marla Ottenstein will be presenting a class from 5-6:30 p.m. March 8 at the Naples campus of Florida Gulf Coast University’s Renaissance Academy on how to downsize. The class, titled “Get Organized! Downsizing Made Easy!” will explore the emotional and physical challenges many people experience when faced with the task of downsizing.
