Blending and mixing colors with VersaFine Clair is very simple. You can create an ombre effect too. If you combine the family colors, just like a mix and match, you can obtain the perfect look and love what you have.  Take a look at my card:

Directions:

Start stamping the distress image over crumb cake card stock. I began with the VersaFine Glamous color and continue with Purple Delight and Clair Charming Pink.  My best tool during this process was the MISTI because I just have to move the cardstock a little every time I re-stamp the image.

Clean your stamp every time you use a different color of ink to not contaminate the ink pad. If you want you can emboss the distress stamped images but if not you can speed up the dry process using the heat tool.

Stamp the sentiment using VersaFine Nocturne.

As soon as you stamp the sentiment, cover the image with Clear Embossing Powder and melt the powder with the heat tool.

Assemble the layers of your card and decorate with a die cut.

To make my card more special I sprayed the whisper white card stock with Shimmer Spritz before cutting the birds.
