Computing Community Consortium Blog

The goal of the Computing Community Consortium (CCC) is to catalyze the computing research community to debate longer range, more audacious research challenges; to build consensus around research visions; to evolve the most promising visions toward clearly defined initiatives; and to work with the funding organizations to move challenges and visions toward funding initiatives. The purpose of this blog is to provide a more immediate, online mechanism for dissemination of visioning concepts and community discussion/debate about them.


Exploratory Advanced Research Program 2018 Broad Agency Announcement

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) issued a Presolicitation Notice for its 2018 Exploratory Advanced Research Program’s Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) with an anticipated posting date soon.

Through the issuance of this BAA, FHWA anticipates sponsoring research addressing four topics: (1) Mobil Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs); (2) Video Analytics; (3) Artificial Realistic Data and (4) Supplementary or Alternative Materials for Highway Pavements and Structures.

All responsible sources capable of satisfying the U.S. Government’s needs may submit proposals for evaluation. The presolicitation announcement is posted on the FedBizOpps Web Site here.

Potential offerors and vendors are encouraged to register on www.fbo.gov to receive any further information regarding this announcement. The BAA will close on April 5, 2018.
