Buyers real estate course

James D. York, a local Realtor, will instruct a real estate class in conjunction with the Collier County Public Schools and the District School Board of Collier County's Adult and Community Education Department.

Real Estate Course for Buyers: Naples trends and recent market statistics; the best way to buy/sell real estate in today's market; what is the true value of a home; how appraisals affect your sale. Learn how to buy short sales, save on homeowners insurance, foreclosures and bank-owned properties, content of all real estate contracts and how they can affect your purchase or sale. Also included is a field trip to the county clerk's office for a foreclosure sale. Class meets for four weeks on Wednesday starting Feb. 21 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Cost: $69. You must register by Tuesday, Feb. 20 at noon. Real Estate Show: New to the area and need a doctor

James D. York P.A., a local Realtor, is the host with Realtors Michael and Morgan York of York Real Estate Group of Downing-Frye Realty on the show "Southwest Florida Real Estate Update." The show has different guests who specialize in relevant topics. Downsizing made easy class

Naples’ PREMIER Professional Organizer and Naples Daily News Get Organized columnist Marla Ottenstein will be presenting a class on how to downsize at the Naples campus of Florida Gulf Coast University’s Renaissance Academy on Thursday, March 8, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The class, titled: “Get Organized! Downsizing Made Easy!” will explore the emotional and physical challenges many people experience when faced with the task of downsizing. The class will cover such topics as how to de-clutter, get organized and prepare for moving; how to consolidate, downsize and transition into the different stages of your life; what to expect when selling, consigning or donating furniture, accessories, collections and other items; how to organize photographs, memorabilia and paperwork and how to prepare your home to be listed and sold in today’s competitive marketplace. Participants may register online with a credit card at http://registerra.asapconnected.com/ or call 239-425-3272. Florida Realtors earns award 

With an outstanding level of member engagement at the state and local levels, Florida Realtors announced that it had been awarded the National Association of REALTORS coveted Triple Crown award. NABOR was among the 40 local Realtor organizations in Florida who also achieved Triple Crown status. The Triple Crown award recognizes state associations that meet their state-specific RPAC (Realtors® Political Action Committee) goals and local associations that meet NAR-specified criteria during the current fundraising year (Jan. 1-Dec. 31 annually).

Clive Daniel Home has recently been selected by Frank R. Jenkins Custom Homes to provide furnishings for a custom single-family residence at in the South Fort Myers, Florida boating community of Town & River. Located at 912 North Town & River Drive, the 3,727-square-foot under air home has deep water access on an oversized waterfront lot. The established Town & River community is off McGregor Boulevard. Encompassing 6,267 total square feet, the four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home and study will feature furnishings by interior designers Rebekah-Errett Pikosky and Charlie Hanson of Clive Daniel Home. Completion of construction of the lakefront luxury home is expected by fall.  

Land Solutions Inc. brokers tracts 

 

University Highlands Limited Partnership, through NM Development Group LLC, sold Parcel 10, 7.57 acres of commercially zoned property, to SREG University Highlands LLC for an undisclosed price. The property is between Interstate 75 and Ben Hill Griffin Parkway in Estero. The deal was brokered by William Rollins, Doug Meschko, and Randy Thibaut of Land Solutions Inc.
