Top 10 boys high school basketball teams in Knoxville area

1. Bearden (29-1) — The Bulldogs finished their district 4-AAA schedule undefeated at 16-0. They have averaged 75.5 points per game and have won their games by an average of 24.5 points. Ques Glover scored 26 in a comeback win over Maryville.

2. Maryville (23-5) — The Rebels recovered from a rare two-loss week to finish their season on a 5-1 run, second in the district at 13-3. Joe Anderson led Maryville with 26 points in the loss to Bearden.

3. Grace Christian (21-6) — The Rams finished the regular season on a five-game win streak and beat Webb twice in a nine-day span, culminating in the Division II District 1-A title game. Grant Ledford scored 22 points in the championship win.

4. Webb (23-5) — The Spartans finished the season on a 9-1 streak. They fell to Grace Christian for the second time in nine days in the district title game.

5. Catholic (19-6) — The Fighting Irish finished the season on a 3-1 run after losing three straight to Bearden, Hardin Valley and Maryville. Ryan MacDonald led the Irish in scoring with 21 points in last week's win over Lenoir City.

6. Oak Ridge (19-6) — The Wildcats finished the season on an eight-game win streak and in the top spot in District 3-AAA at 14-0. Herbert Booker scored 30 points in a win over Fulton.

7. Karns (21-5) — The Beavers finished second in the district at 10-4. They won two of three games last week, over Scott and Gibbs but fell to Halls in their district finale.

8. Austin-East (14-2) — The Roadrunners have not played since their brawl with Brainerd, but were on pace to finish their regular season atop the district.

9. Fulton (18-7) — The Falcons lost three games in the last month and a half, to Webb, Bearden and Oak Ridge. Edward Lacy scored 18 and DeShawn Page had 14 in the regular-season finale against Oak Ridge. 

10. Oakdale (22-6) — The Eagles finished the season top District 3-A at 14-2. They were 4-3 against AAA teams, having beaten Clinton three times and Heritage. Jackson Hicks scored 24 points in last week's win over Rockwood.
