KTS Homes now building in Deerwood in Naples
KTS Homes has been introduced as a builder in the gated, upscale community of Deerwood on Collier Boulevard, immediate south of Naples National Golf Club.
The 155-acre community has only 28 custom home sites, the majority of which offer direct views of one of two lakes. All of the oversized home sites are surrounded by preserve to assure maximum privacy. Limited home sites remain in the community, with each measuring three-quarters of an acre.
KTS Homes has one home under construction in Deerwood and another home in the design stage. The first home is scheduled to be completed in April.
In addition to Deerwood, KTS Homes is also building in the master-planned community of Naples Reserve, which is located two miles east of the Collier Boulevard and U.S. 41 East intersection.
Currently, KTS Homes has one move-in ready model completed and open for tours, the Newport, and another lakefront model in the final phase of construction, the Newport II.
The Newport, a California-coastal contemporary home, is a three-bedroom plus study, two full bath, two half-bath plan with 3,030 square feet under air and 5,285 total square feet, including an expansive outdoor living area and a side-entry, three-car garage.
From the covered entry, you step into the grand foyer. To the immediate left is the study with its double French-door entry, wood flooring, grass clothed walls, and two windows facing east.
Straight ahead is the nearly 27-by-22-foot great room with marble flooring from the Diana Royal collection. It also has horizontal ceiling detail with hidden LED lighting controlled by Lutron, and corresponding linear wood floor inserts that lead the way to the outdoor oasis. Separating the great room from the outdoor living area is a seamless Solar Innovations’ impact-rated 10-foot glass folding door, which from the center, retracts back in two different directions.
To the right of the great room is the open gourmet kitchen with marble floor, an island counter consisting of a quartzite counter top and Thermador appliances, the majority of which are wood cased.
The Thermador appliance package in the kitchen includes a 36-inch induction cook top, steam oven, warming drawer, conventional oven, and a double-door, wood-encased refrigerator. The 5-star kitchen package would not be complete without a drawer microwave, dishwasher, and U-line wine cooling unit with dual controls.
Contrasting cabinet colors and the use of two different counter top surfaces are melded together with a vibrant coordinating tile backsplash. LED lighting in the upper and lower cabinets are accented by pendant lights over the island. Additional energy efficient lighting can be adjusted.
The kitchen also has a set of disappearing, zero edge sliding glass doors that retract back in two directions. This opens the dining room and kitchen to the outdoor living area, perfect for indoor/outdoor entertaining.
Also to the right of the great room are two oversized guest suites, which share a full bath and a powder bath.
To the left is the master suite, with naturally aged wood flooring and an tray ceiling. The suite features 90-degree hurricane-impact, zero sliding edge pocket doors that disappear to bring the synergy of the outside in by connecting to the seating area of the master suite.
The master bath, with its natural stone floor showcasing porcelain tile insets, features his and her vanities with marble counter tops, a freestanding, hand-finished, two-person resin tub with feminine curves, an oversized walk-in shower with frameless glass door, and a private water closet.
Beyond the master bath is the 13-by-11-foot walk-in closet. For convenience, it has access to the laundry room which features a Maytag large capacity washer and dryer, a built-in utility sink, and marble counter tops.
Every major room in the Newport model has access to the home’s private outdoor living area.
Illuminated water flows around a composite wood-like deck. As a major focal point at night, the illuminated fire pit also adds ambiance, to a gas-heated spa with LED lit bubblers, as well as the entire outdoor entertaining area. The custom-designed pool has wet shelf with an umbrella for cover, which is removable.
Both the spa and the pool are fully automated and can be controlled by the touch of an app on a phone or at the wall-mounted control panels within the house.
The professional outdoor kitchen features a built-in gas grill, a sink and an under-counter refrigerator. The outdoor living area also has a ship-lap siding pool bath.
With furnishings, the Newport model is priced at $1.5 million.
