Secret Scent Box Review

Try before you commit - four little words I long to hear, especially in regards to fragrance. For one, I am fussy, I don't like to, nor tend to, blind purchase scents of any calibre; I am a beauty writer, the last thing I need is another unused and unloved product occupying valuable storage space. And yet, I do enjoy trying new things at any given opportunity, it is quite the conundrum...well that was until I was introduced to Secret Scent Box.

From just £13 a month, three deluxe samples of well known, 100% authentic designer, and often just on the shelves fragrances (there is an option for both male and female subscribers) are delivered directly to your door, beautifully presented in a gift box that will fit through most, if not all letterboxes so you needn't worry about missing the postman.

Secret Scent Box Review

Each dinky but deceivingly generous atomiser, within Secret Scent Box contains 3ml of fragrance, which in theory based on two to three mists/sprays per day should last the average user up to 10 days - not to mention perfectly proportioned to slip into even the smallest of bags and tightest of pockets.

Secret Scent Box Review

As the Secret Scent Box has been created and curated to offer variety - a discovery of fragrance if you will - no two months are the same, great if you have yet to stumble upon your signature scent or perhaps, a little (or a lot) like myself, you are fussy and bore very easily. I rather enjoy that they aren't themed, rather each monthly drop offers three very different from one and other, fragrant treats complete with information cards so you can learn a little more about each as you try them out.

Secret Scent Box Review

The February Secret Scent Box is perfectly timed and suited for the awkward transition from the depths of Winter, into crisper and hopefully the brighter beginnings of Spring. Although the trio of scents are in no way similar in terms of composition, they do all share an uplifting overall vibe. From the aquatic, citrus and refreshingly zesty notes of Davidoff Cool Waters for Her, to the complex yet delightfully White composition of Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum to the modern, sweet and bright, fruity trails of FCUK3 for her - there's something for the everyone and every mood.
