Body found in Naples Airport pond identified

The Naples Police Department and Naples Fire-Rescue investigate the scene where a body was found floating and recovered from a small pond on Naples Municipal Airport property early Monday, Jan. 29, 2018.

Naples police on Wednesday released the identity of the man found floating in a pond at the Naples Municipal Airport. 

The body of Jacques L. Saintil Jr., 25, was found in the pond Monday morning. 

A passer-by called 911 to report what appeared to be a body floating in the water. 

Naples Lt. Seth Finman said in an email that no information about the cause of death or whether the death was suspicious will be available until the autopsy is completed.
