Top 10 boys high school basketball teams in Knoxville area

1. Bearden (24-1) — The Bulldogs are undefeated in District 4-AAA at 12-0. Trent Stephney scored 19 points in a win over West last week and Ques Glover had 14.

2. Maryville (18-4) — The Rebels are second in District 4-AAA at 9-2. Joe Anderson scored 13 points in a loss to William Blount last week.

3. Webb (20-3) — The Spartans are unbeaten in Division II District 1-A. They have won 14 games by 20 points or more.

4. Catholic (16-4) — The Fighting Irish are third in District 4-AAA at 8-4. Brock Jancek scored 17 points in a loss to Hardin Valley last week.

5. Oak Ridge (14-6) — The Wildcats are undefeated in District 3-AAA at 10-0. Marcus Smith scored 18 points and Levert Smith had 17 in last week's win over Powell.

6. Powell (14-9) — The Panthers sit at 9-3 in District 3-AAA. They fell to Oak Ridge last week but beat Campbell County and Halls. Josh Woods had 21 points in the win over Halls.

7. Karns (17-3) — The Beavers are 8-2 in District 3-AAA. They beat Clinton, Hardin Valley and Campbell County last week.

8. Austin-East (15-2) — The Roadrunners are second in District 4-AA at 4-1 with a slate of district games coming up. Wesley Allen and Dereke Upton each scored 12 points in a win over Kingston last week.

9. Fulton (15-5) — The Falcons sit atop District 4-AA at 7-1. Edward Lacy had 18 points and eight rebounds in a win over Alcoa last week. Deshawn Page and James Davis each scored 14.

10. Grace Christian (17-6) — The Rams are second in Division II District 1-A at 5-1. CJ Gettelfinger scored 34 points in a win over First Baptist and Grant Ledford had 30.
