ACCO Brands will close Pleasant Prairie distribution center

Office products firm ACCO Brands Corp. will close a distribution center in Pleasant Prairie, cutting 26 jobs, the company said in a notice to state officials Monday.

Seven of those whose jobs are being eliminated will relocate to ACCO's headquarters in Lake Zurich, Ill., and several other people will be offered jobs at the firm's manufacturing plant in Pleasant Prairie, a spokesman said.

ACCO expects to close the distribution center by May 31, and plans to shift the work to a larger distribution center in Mississippi.
