Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have provided at least one answer on the quarterback's right hand injury.

Brady is active for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Brady did not wear a glove on his right hand during pregame warmups, but the wound was covered by a large swatch of black tape that stretched from the middle of the back of his hand and wrapped around his thumb.

He took almost exclusively from shotgun during pregame drills and between snaps kept his right hand inside a pouch he wore around his waist. He spoke briefly with Patriots owner Robert Kraft before retreating to the locker room while his teammates finished special teams warmup.

After sustaining the injury on Wednesday when a teammate collided with him on a handoff, according to multiple reports, Brady missed practice on Thursday and was limited on Friday. He was officially listed as questionable on the injury report.

ESPN reported that Brady received stitches but had no ligament damage or bone breaks in the hand.

On Friday, Brady repeatedly shot down questions on the injury and said "we'll see" when asked if he planned to play Sunday.

Inactive for the Patriots are running back Mike Gillislee, tight end Jacob Hollister, defensive tackle Alan Branch, wide receiver Kenny Britt, offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle, wide receiver Bernard Reedy and linebacker David Harris. Inactive for the Jaguars are running back Chris Ivory, defensive tackle Eli Ankou, linebacker Deon King, defensive end Carroll Phillips, offensive lineman Chris Reed, offensive lineman Josh Walker and offensive lineman William Poehls.
