Pine Ridge Estates spec home designed by Weber Design Group under construction
Construction has commenced in Pine Ridge Estates for a custom coastal contemporary style estate home designed by local architectural and planning firm Weber Design Group.
The spec home, located at 551 Gordonia Road, is owned and being developed by Legacy Development Group and built by the Glendale Group of Southwest Florida. Completion of the home is expected by April.
The single-story home will have 5,490 square feet of air-conditioned living space and include four en suite bedrooms, five full baths and one half-bath, a study and a massive bonus room. The design also includes 1,321 square feet of outdoor living space plus split garages and storage for a grand total of 8,566 square feet.
The exterior of the home will have a coastal contemporary look with a light colored smooth stucco finish, flat tile roof and a grand raised entry system. Rich Bahama shutter accents, decorative overhang brackets and garage doors will beautifully counterbalance the stucco façade. Glass entry doors topped by transom windows will invite in natural light as well as draw the eye straight through the home to the rear pool views on the wooded lot.
Inside the home, the foyer will be between the formal dining room and study, and immediately give way to the large great room, adjacent open-concept island kitchen and dinette. Individual coffered ceiling designs will provide delineation and dimension in each of the combined open living spaces. A wall of sliding glass in the great room will provide a transition to the expansive outdoor living areas and facilitate a centralized view of the pool from the entry.
The master suite will have a separate sitting area and wet bar plus two walk-in closets. The master bath will provide a spa-like experience for the homeowner complete with a soaking tub, two vanities and a large glass-walled shower. The home will also have three guest suites with walk-in closets and private baths.
The floor plan for this home also includes a bonus room that will have two walls of zero-corner sliding glass doors that will allow the room to open up completely on two sides to the pool area. This flex room could be used as another family room, game room, exercise or party room that easily extends to the covered lanai at any time.
The sprawling outdoor living areas will provide an outdoor oasis nestled inside the wooded Pine Ridge lot. An outdoor kitchen, fireplace and southwestern-exposed pool with a sun shelf and spa will provide all that is needed to entertain outdoors. The covered lanai has also been designed with a coffered ceiling and beams.
Two split two-car garages complete the floor plan. One of the garages provides an entrance to the master suite side of the home, while the other provides entry through a mudroom to a utility room and guest bedroom wing.
The spec home is offered for sale by Alison Kalb of Downing-Frye at a price of $4.35 million.
