Mia Francois led the Titans with 15 points. Zarkyah Cunningham added nine.

Sabrina Fakhoury finished with 10 points for the Cougars. Clynnie Keller added eight.

“It feels good to get back in the win column,” Golden Gate coach Keri Looker said. “We have had some close games recently that haven’t gone our way. Tonight we had a rocky second quarter but our girls bounced back with a solid second half to secure the win. I am really proud of the way they all pulled together and responded after halftime.”

“We are really struggling to score (and) play with any confidence,” Barron Collier coach Mike Hamburg said.  “We look lost out there. I have to find someone who can give us a spark.”

PALMETTO RIDGE 58, NAPLES 40: Haven Craft led the Bears with 19 points. Sandralee Benedict added 17 points. Katie Mendez finished with 10 points, hitting three 3-pointers.

Aliyah Garnett finished with 11 points for the Golden Eagles.

"Another really great team effort and great win,” Palmetto Ridge coach Jamie Navarro said. “Very proud of the girls for stepping up each game, and I'm really excited about how we are progressing as a team. All the girls played really well tonight."

“We got into early foul trouble which hurt us, but I was pleased with the energy we played with and how encouraging all my girls were with one another,” Naples coach Daniella Rosset said. “We have to do a better job on the offensive end with taking higher percentage shots and capitalizing on them.”

FIRST BAPTIST 67, LaBELLE 32: Emilie Josephson led the Lions with 17 points. Nicole Smith and Paige Scullin each added 13.

"Another great effort tonight by our entire team,” First Baptist coach Jen Lines said. “Fun to watch this group compete and play hard for four quarters. Excited about our district matchup with SFCA (Southwest Florida Christian Academy).”
