It’s time to host the perfect game day party and your favorite products can help!
Do you enjoy hosting parties? I’ll admit that although sometimes they stress me out, I LOVE to host. It’s just something about seeing everyone enjoying the food and company that makes my heart happy. I’m an introvert too, but I still enjoy hosting parties and preparing for them. Now that the holidays are over, we have shifted gears to game day parties. Are you ready to host the perfect game day party?
Just this past week we cheered on our favorite teams and I’ll admit this particular game was so good, I was actually fully attentive to it. Normally, I’d rather chat and enjoy some good food while the guys watch the game but sometimes they get so good, you just have to keep your eyes glued on the TV so you don’t miss anything.
When we have a game day party, it’s always important to have everything you need on hand for your guests. Wouldn’t it be awful to run out of toilet paper in the middle of your party? That’s just not good at all! That is exactly why I like to stock up on all my household essentials before parties, and I make sure I get enough to last a while when the stuff I use every day is on sale.
Right now, if you use the ibotta app, you can get $.50 back when you buy one of your favorite household products from Tide, Febreze, Charmin and more PLUS earn an extra $1 back when you redeem 2 products at Walmart. These are select products, but the ones I am mentioning today are all included!
I decided to stock up on Bounty Select-A-Size Super Rolls, Charmin Ultra Strong Mega Rolls, and Tide Ultra Oxi PODS (these PODS are brand new!)
Now to make sure we have plenty on hand, I like to use a decorative basket in the guest bathroom and fill it with Charmin Ultra Strong. I know many put it under their sink, which is a great way to store it too; however, I prefer to have it out at least a few rolls so guests don’t have to go prying under the sink to find things. I am sure most don’t feel comfortable doing that. This way if it runs out before you are able to restock, a guest can easily grab a roll and use it.
Now, we always have Bounty Super Rolls on hand in abundance, because we do go through these quite a bit. They are perfect to have on the table with all the food for the party, plus it’s great for when you have little spills from scooping that tasty chili into your bowl too. I like to keep them out in various locations because it never fails, we all sit down and start eating and then realize we need a paper towel.
Once the party is over, it’s easy to wash anything that needs washing with Tide PODS. Typically for us it’s lots of dish towels that need washing and of course, shirts. Why is it that food always tends to immediately stain my kids’ shirts? It’s as if the food flies out without them touching anything and immediately lands on their shirts (especially our daughter).
When it happens, I can quickly throw it in the wash with one of the Tide PODS and mark laundry cleanup off my list . Now, do you have some great game day recipes that you enjoy?
Let’s get on to these tasty eats, because of course FOOD is a must for game day!
