Brewers include 34 players on list of attendees for annual 'On Deck' fan event on Jan. 28

The Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday announced the list of club attendees for their annual “Brewers On Deck” fan festival at the Wisconsin Center on Sunday, Jan. 28.

The list of 34 players attending the event includes Ryan Braun, Travis Shaw, Eric Thames, Jimmy Nelson, Corey Knebel, Zach Davies, Orlando Arcia, Domingo Santana and Jhoulys Chacin, a starting pitcher who recently signed a two-year free-agent deal.

Some of the Brewers’ top minor-league prospects will be on hand, including Lewis Brinson, Brett Phillips, Corbin Burnes, Monte Harrison and Keston Hiura, the team’s first-round draft pick in 2017.

As usual, manager Craig Counsell and his coaches will participate in the event that runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The list of Brewers alumni scheduled to attend includes Robin Yount, Rollie Fingers, Cecil Cooper, Gorman Thomas, Jim Gantner, Dan Plesac and Jeff Cirillo.

The usual group of TV and radio broadcasters, led by Hall of Famer Bob Uecker, will be in attendance as well several members of the front office, including principal owner Mark Attansio, general manager David Stearns and chief operating officer Rick Schlesinger.

A schedule of events, including autograph signings and player photos, will be released by the Brewers on a later date. As in past years, there will be interactive activities for children, Q&A sessions with players, coaches and staff, TV-style game shows, vendor booths with baseball memorabilia and a live auction.

All autographs will be first come, first served and limited to the first 250 people in line. Those opportunities are for signatures on photo cards provided by the team.

Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $9 for children 14 and under. Tickets on the day of the event are $20 for adults and $15 for children, with cash only accepted. Tickets may be purchased at the Miller Park box office, by calling the ticket office at 414-902-4000 or online at Brewers.com/ondeck through Jan. 27 at noon. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Brewers Community Foundation.

Food donations will be accepted for The Hunger Task Force at the two main entrances, located at 4th St. and Wisconsin Ave., and 4th St. and Wells St.
