Stolen car found in Whitetail's pond, police say

MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP - A car which was stolen in December was found in a pond at Whitetail Ski Resort, according to state police.

The vehicle, which was reported stolen out of Hagerstown, Maryland on Dec. 5, was found under ice in about eight feet of water, according to the report. 

Police said an underwater drone was used to search the vehicle, and nothing was found.

The car will be removed by the owner's insurance at a later time.
