High-speed chase shuts down part of I-75 in Collier County

Deputies arrested a man after a high-speed chase in Collier County on Tuesday morning, NBC-2 reports.

The chase began in the area of Collier Boulevard and I-75 at about 2:40 a.m.

Deputies chased the driver of a gold four-door sedan. Authorities have not released details as to why the chase began.

Law enforcement had traffic on I-75 going northbound shut down for approximately 30 minutes following the chase.
