CME dairy prices mostly down Friday

The dairy markets were mostly down Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

January milk was down $.05 at $13.76.  February was down $.14 at $13.07.  March was down $.09 to $13.16.  April was down $.11 closing at $13.54.  The rest of the 2018 milk futures were all down except for one-cent gains in August and December.

Grade AA Butter was up $.005 at $2.16.  Four carloads traded, ranging from $2.1475 to $2.17.

Barrels were down $.0725 to $1.2175.  Twenty carloads were sold ranging from $1.2175 to $1.2875.

40-pound blocks were up $.0175 to  $1.4550.  Two carloads of blocks were sold at $1.44 and $1.4425.

Nonfat dry milk was down $.0025 at $.6675 per pound.  Three carloads were sold ranging from $.6675 to $.6725 per pound.
