CASD announces kindergarten registration dates
CHAMBERSBURG - Chambersburg Area School District is set to host kindergarten registration for the 2018-19 school year.
In addition to getting children enrolled in the district, at registration appointments district staff will welcome each child, meet with parents/guardians and the student together to review what can be expected for the first day of school, and share important information and resources to make coming to school a positive experience.

There are a number of registration dates and times throughout March and April at the district's 13 elementary schools. Each appointment will take about one hour.
Parents should register for an appointment online at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080e4aacac2eaafa7-kindergarten. An additional required registration form can be found at https://www.casdonline.org/kgregistration.
Registration appointments are available at:
- Andrew Buchanan: March 20, 4:15 and 5:30
- Benjamin Chambers: April 3 and 5, 4:30 and 5:45
- Falling Spring: March 26, 4:30 and 5:45
- Fayetteville: March 8 and 15, 4:30 and 5:45
- Grandview: March 5, 4:30 and 5:45
- Guilford Hills: March 28, 4:30 and 5:45
- Hamilton Heights: March 19 and 21, 4:30 and 5:45
- Lurgan: March 7, 4:30 and 5:45
- Marion: March 6, 4:15 and 5:15
- New Franklin: March 14, 5:30 and 6:30
- Scotland: April 9 and 10, 4:30 and 5:45
- South Hamilton: March 12, 4:30 and 5:45
- Stevens: March 13, 4:30 and 5:45
While parents can choose any to school for the registration appointment, that does not guarantee the child will attend that school for kindergarten. The district makes school assignments based on several population factors. Parents will receive their child's school assignment from the Transportation Department in August.
