Give Elite Status and Miles for the Holidays!

The current round of Milepoint Premium offering is:

  • 1000 United miles
  • Hilton Gold status
  • National Car Rental Executive status

.. and several other benefits such as with ParkingSpot, Hyatt gift cards, and beyond.

Last year’s offering was popular enough that we managed to secure substantially more packages this time around, hence it’s still available — though as of yesterday Milepoint Premium was 96% sold out.

It’s now possible to gift Milepoint premium membership.

With only a small number of packages left there will be limited opportunities to do this for the 2013 holidays, if elite status for Christmas or other similarly-timed holdiays appeals.

But I love the functionality as we go into future releases of Milepoint Premium. It means I can take advantage of a Premium offer more than once, by leveraging it with friends, and I can give status to friends and co-workers as well who I think can make good use of it.

  1. Hey guys, so if I do this, how do I know the bonuses come through? I am particularly in the Hilton Gold part, does my Hilton account just get notified? This is a bloody good deal mate.

  2. Lots of previous discussion here. Milepoint account has an ‘award store’ where you can redeem the Hilton Gold status. You enter the name of the accountolder and the account # and while it is promised after quite a few weeks most report status is reflected more quickly.

  3. If you would give Lufthansa status and a free pass to the Concorde Room then I’d be in………

  4. All signed up today, everything worked perfectly, just have to wait now until it all comes through, very happy camper!, thanks to all for making these offers available. I had decided to punt Hilton after their massive devaluation but on trying other brands in the subsequent months, I just like their hotels, so whilst I lost my status from Diamond, this is a cheap way to get back in there with the free wi-fi and the brekkies.

  6. @Jeff I am very clear with the we’s and my’s here and I write regularly about my role in Milepoint and it is on the ‘About’ page of this website, I am certainly not trying to hide anything, I am quite proud of it! However and to be clear as I have said with this offer in the past I do not expect to derive income as a result from it.

  7. Well, I’ve purhased the Premium membership back in October and claimed my United miles. But they are still not posted. I know this is not a good place to ask about these kind of issues, but just mentioning…
