Naples man accused of exposing himself in a truck

A Naples man is in Lee County Jail on $10,000 bail after a Lee County Sheriff's Office deputy said he saw the man exposing himself in public.

Joseph Pittman, 53, will be arraigned Jan. 23 on the charges.

The LCSO deputy was called to the 7-Eleven at 21200 Corkscrew Road in Estero on a report of a man exposing himself in a truck. The same vehicle was reported with a person conducting similar behavior three hours earlier at a nearby pediatric dentist office.

The deputy saw Pittman in a silver Ford F-150 backed into a parking space with the passenger side doors open. In a report on the incident, the deputy said he saw Pittman exposing his genital area to a complainant.

The complainant said she called 911 about the man because she had children ages 13, 10, and 6 in the vehicle.
