Driver robbed after car forced off South Mountain Road

SOUTH MOUNTAIN - Three men in a red car forced another vehicle off South Mountain Road and robbed the driver at 5:10 a.m. Jan. 4, Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg, reported.

Police said that when forced partially off the road, the victim, a 36-year-old man from Harrisonville, traveled into the parking lot at 10025 South Mountain Road, Quincy Township, with the red car following him.

Three men got out and while one man took a stance as though he were pointing a handgun at the victim, the others ordered the victim to get out of his vehicle and place his hands on his hood.

Two men took his wallet, cell phone and pocket knife from him, and they took $40 from his vehicle. They then gave back his wallet, got in their car and fled east on South Mountain Road and north on Loop Road
