Previously reported, December 2017:

A Hamiltonban Township man and a Carroll Valley Borough man both had charges filed against them and warrants out for their arrest after they allegedly beat up a man for a PlayStation 4.

On Dec. 12 at about 9:30 p.m. police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Mount Hope Road, Hamiltonban Township, for a report of a robbery, according to an affidavit filed with District Judge Mark Beauchat.

Police arrived and spoke with the victim, Jacob Daywalt, who said Seth Logan Doxsey, 22, of Hamiltonban Township, agreed to pay him $250 for a PlayStation 4.

Daywalt told police that he was in his front yard when Doxsey arrived with four other people in a black Ford Mustang, the affidavit states.

Once Doxsey knew that Daywalt had the PlayStation 4, he allegedly punched Daywalt repeatedly in the mouth, arms and body.

Jonathan Tayler Stambaugh, 21, of Carroll Valley Borough, allegedly got out of the Mustang with a baseball bat and hit Daywalt twice in the ribs, police said in the affidavit.

Daywalt also told police three more people got out of the Mustang and began to punch him in his arms and body. He said they then took the PlayStation 4 and fled, the affidavit states.

He also told police he could identify three of the five people because he knew them.

Doxsey and Stambaugh currently have warrants out for their arrest.

Police are looking for more information on a third person in order to file charges against him, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
