Nike didn't make Christmas Day NBA jerseys

Andrew Joseph

Nike is in the first year of an 8-year contract with the NBA as the league's official uniform supplier, and Year 1 is off to a dreadful start for the sportswear giant.

The jerseys are ripping at an alarming rate, non-Nike NBA stars are hiding the logo and now we won't have Christmas Day uniforms.

Nike confirmed on Monday that there won't be Christmas Day uniforms for the first time since 2011. And given that Nike had created at least four uniforms for every team this season, the lack of Christmas uniforms seemed like a massive oversight.

NBA fans were understandably bummed that the Christmas games will look just like any other game.
