Police seek info in arson, burglary investigation

CHAMBERSBURG - Chambersburg Police are looking for a person of interest in connection to an incident where gas cans were stolen and a road was set on fire.

According to a report released on Dec. 22, officers responded to a call in which someone entered an outdoor storage shed and took three gas cans on Dec. 3. Police said the cans were later located near a grass lot, and it appeared someone had also set fire to the pavement on South Harrison Avenue near Kyle Alley.

Surveillance video showed two people setting the road on fire at about 4 a.m. on Dec. 3.
