Vintage Airline Seat Map: American Eagle Shorts 360

It’s time again for a little regional airline love in this installment of Vintage Airline Seat Maps.

Appearing below is an American Airlines (Eagle) Shorts 360 seen flying the skies in the early 1990s. Even before then, I recall them as a frequent sight at Chicago O’Hare when I sat along the runways airplane spotting.

You’d find me in 3A or 4A. Row 12 probably had extra legroom due to the exits, but I wouldn’t be keen on that 3-seater with the lavatory immediately aft.

Where would you sit?
