The Vols have 13 signees after the addition of Alontae Taylor on Friday.
Here's a look at the players who have signed with Tennessee.
DE, 6-4, 230
City College of San Francisco
247 Composite: 3-star, No. 2 JUCO weakside DE
Commit date: Dec. 20
Twitter handle: @dontsleeponj
The final word: Allen became the second junior college player in Tennessee's signing ranks when he declared for the Vols on Wednesday. He decommitted from TCU in November. Michigan State was among the schools that also pursued Allen. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining after tallying 27 tackles and 4.5 sacks as a redshirt freshman. UT could use a boost to its pass rush after ranking 13th in the SEC in sacks. The lean, quick Allen shows burst off the edge.
Tanner Antonutti
OT, 6-5, 260
Ensworth (Nashville)
247 Composite: 3-star, No. 59 OT
Commit date: July 30
Twitter handle: @TannerAntonutti
More:I'm Tanner Antonutti: This is why I chose Tennessee
The final word: The Vols desperately need offensive line help, especially at tackle. Antonutti still is learning the position after only making the full-time switch to offensive tackle as a senior, so he probably won't play early. But he could help UT in the future. Antonutti also had offers from LSU, Kentucky, Louisville and Virginia Tech among others.
Jeremy Banks
RB, 6-2, 215
Cordova
247 Composite: 3-star, No. 24 RB
Commit date: Dec. 20
Twitter handle: @jeremybanks32
The final word: Banks visited Tennessee last weekend and made his choice on signing day. He's a good instate pickup for the Vols. Banks chose UT over Nebraska, UCLA, Mississippi and Iowa State. He also had an offer from Memphis, where his high school coach, Anthony Jones Jr., is now an assistant. Banks rushed for 1,941 yards and 32 touchdowns in 2017. He did a lot of his work between the tackles.
Paxton Brooks
P, 6-5, 170
Airport (West Columbia, S.C.)
247 Composite: 3-star, No. 8 kicker
Commit date: Aug. 17
Twitter handle: @paxbrooks
The final word: Brooks has served as a punter and kicker in high school, but he’s set to be a punter at Tennessee. He could be called on early to fill the shoes of strong-legged punter Trevor Daniel, who was a senior. Brooks also held offers from N.C. State, Wake Forest and Army. He's ranked the No. 2 punter in the 2018 class by Kohl's Kicking.
Jerome Carvin
OT, 6-4, 330
Cordova
247 Composite: 4-star, No. 25 OT
Commit date: Dec. 20
Twitter handle: @JeromeCarvin
The final word: With his decision on Wednesday, Carvin became one of Tennessee's top prizes of the early signing period. Physically, Carvin looks ready to contend for playing time, especially given the Vols' struggles up front in 2017. Carvin picked the Vols over Mississippi State, Florida, Auburn and UCLA. His other offers included Memphis, where his high school coach, Anthony Jones Jr., is now an assistant. His play at left tackle helped Cordova average 478 yards of offense.
Greg Emerson
DT, 6-3, 280
North Side (Jackson)
247 composite: 4-star, No. 7 DT
Commit date: July 3
Twitter handle: @sneakerhad_greg
The final word: Emerson is one of the top prizes of Tennessee's early signing period. His size is a top asset. Emerson was selected to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, which is Jan. 6. He had to sit out his senior season due to a dislocated ankle and fractured fibula suffered in July. Emerson chose UT over Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State, among others. He intends to be an early enrollee. Depending how he recovers from his injury, he could be a candidate to skip the redshirt.
Kingston Harris
DT, 6-4, 272
IMG Academy (Orlando, Fla.)
247 Composite: 3-star, No. 78 DT
Commit date: Dec. 18
Twitter handle: @KingstonH71
The final word: Harris was a late addition to the class. He committed Monday after an official visit, becoming the second player to commit to Pruitt’s staff. He has the size to fit into the 3-4 scheme that Pruitt likes to run. He lined up both inside and outside for IMG last season. Harris also had offers from Pittsburgh, Michigan State and Maryland.
Ollie Lane
OG, 6-5, 285
Gibbs (Corryton)
247 composite: 3-star, No. 32 OG
Commit date: April 12
Twitter handle: @gibbseagles78
More:I'm Ollie Lane: This is why I chose Tennessee
The final word: Lane started every game this season at right guard for an offense that averaged 315 rushing yards. Lane projects as playing on the inside of the offensive line, possibly at center. He had offers from nearly 20 other schools, including Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin. He'll be an early enrollee.
Brant Lawless
DT, 6-3, 285
Nashville Christian
247 composite: 4-star, No. 21 DT
Commit date: May 1
Twitter handle: @brant_lawless
More:I'm Brant Lawless: This is why I chose Tennessee
The final word: Lawless was a steady contributor for four seasons at Nashville Christian, where he played two seasons with Tennessee linebacker Daniel Bituli. Lawless made 49 tackles his senior season, including 16.5 for loss, according to MaxPreps. Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and LSU also pursued Lawless. He was one of the first prospects to commit to UT's 2018 class and didn't waver.
JT Shrout
QB, 6-3, 190
Hart (Santa Clarita, Calif.)
247 composite: 3-star, No. 26 pro-style QB
Commit date: Dec. 20
Twitter handle: @JT_Shrout16
More:QB JT Shrout signs with Tennessee Vols after decommitting from Cal
The final word: Shrout committed to California in June, but he visited Tennessee last weekend and announced for the Vols on signing day. Shrout completed 51 percent of his passes his senior year for 3,064 yards with 27 touchdowns and 25 interceptions, according to MaxPreps. His signing gives the Vols four scholarship QBs. That offers some wiggle room in case one of the incumbents transfers. Cal and UT were the only Power 5 teams to offer Shrout. Shrout ran a shotgun spread in high school.
Alontae Taylor
WR, 6-0, 184
Coffee County (Manchester)
247 composite: 4-star, No. 23 WR
Commit date: Dec. 13
Twitter handle: @TayTaylor6
The final word: Taylor was a multi-purpose standout for Coffee County. He rushed for 1,409 yards and 21 TDs, along with catching 11 passes for 256 yards and a touchdown. He was 24-for-46 passing for 391 yards and a touchdown. On defense, he had 13 tackles and an interception. Along with UT, Taylor visited Georgia, Notre Dame and Wake Forest. He committed to Tennessee, decommitted, then rejoined the fold after Pruitt was hired.
Jacob Warren
TE, 6-6, 211
Farragut (Knoxville)
247 composite: 3-star, No. 33 TE
Commit date: May 24
Twitter handle: @jwarren808
More:I'm Jacob Warren: This is why I chose Tennessee
The final word: The tight end caught 39 passes for 659 yards and eight touchdowns this season. He tied a Farragut school record with four TD catches against Bradley Central. His father, James, was an offensive lineman at UT in the early 1990s. According to ESPN, Warren had offers from five other SEC schools, including Vanderbilt, South Carolina and Missouri. He'll be an early enrollee.
Dominick Wood-Anderson
TE, 6-5, 245
Arizona Western College (Yuma, Ariz.)
247 Composite: 4-star, No. 1 JUCO tight end
Signing date: Dec. 20
Twitter handle: @TheRealYungDom
The final word: Wood-Anderson, who comes from the same junior college program that produced Vols defensive end Jonathan Kongbo, picked Tennessee over Alabama and Texas A&M after making a campus visit last weekend. He had 31 receptions this season for 258 yards and two touchdowns. Both of Wood-Anderson's TD catches came in a 31-28 loss to East Mississippi Community College in the NJCAA national championship game.
