West Bend Nativity scene baby Jesus statue decapitated by vandals

Vandals decapitated a baby Jesus statue that was part of a Nativity scene in West Bend over the weekend.

A West Bend police officer on Sunday noticed the damage to the Nativity scene set up in Old Settlers Park in the community's downtown.

The Jesus statue's head and arm had been removed. Although the officer found the arm nearby, the head was still missing Sunday evening. A dispatcher said shortly after 5 p.m. that no arrests had been made.
