Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfume Review

In a dream world I'd love to awaken on Christmas day to a glistening diamond, neatly presented within an iconic Tiffany & Co Blue box but I'm realistic and therefore prepared for that not to be my reality this December. However Tiffany & Co shaped luxury comes in many guises, and with the launch of the new Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfume, some of us could be very lucky indeed, this coming December and find a pretty blue box under the tree after all - even if said present, happens to one you bestow upon yourself, your secret is safe with me.

Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfume Review

As Tiffany & Co are a luxurious jewellery retailer, it only makes sense that they have applied such area of expertise, the crystal bottle is inspired by the iconic Tiffany Lucida and Tiffany Yellow Diamond cuts - sharp, timeless and understated. The box that the Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfume is presented in, is of course as expected, all but identical to the blue boxes used to present and store Tiffany & Co jewellery - complete with a sweet ribbon of such hue, snuggly wrapped around the neck of each bottle. Master Perfumer Daniela Andrier was inspired by her love for gemstones and jewellery to create this contemporary take on the most precious ingredients of traditional haute perfumery - something we can all agree she has achieved. For those looking to go the extra mile this gifting season, there is the Tiffany & Co 'skyline' Eau De Parfum edition, which features the same bottle of scent but nestled inside a intricately carved Manhattan skyline box; it is the adult and refined equivalent of a pop up book - a whimsical, keepsake to be treasured forever.

Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfume Review

Many fragrance brands have tried to encapsulate the spirit and essence of NYC and some do a great job, but none so far have managed to bring to life the carefree glamour and romance that is ever present in the big apple. Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfume is not a loud fragrance, rather it is a modern, vibrant sparkly fruity-floral with feminine and refined accents: the top note of vert de mandarin, is fresh and slightly green but mellowed out with the the precious iris flower at the heart of the scent. To ensure that Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfume remains sensual and lingers on the skin, the base is constructed of warm notes of patchouli wrapped in gentle musky notes.

In my mind, Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfume is reminiscent of a warm July evening in New York City, it is as carefree and as romantic as the small, niche cafes found in the village, it has a certain breezy quality, and the almost green note of vert de mandarin, in my mind is a subtle nod to the green spaces scattered around the metropolis that is Manhattan.

If you are struggling as what to purchase a loved one this festive period, or perhaps you are long overdue a payday treat? Well I can't think of a more glorious gesture nor pick-me-up than a bottle of Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfume. I also think this is a great gift for anyone who has just recently become engaged - don't you? It is the very epitome of modern day glamour, suitable for all occasions and ages, and of course who wouldn't want to untie a Tiffany & Co box this December?
