Prep roundup: Immokalee boys hoops beats Okeechobee to stay undefeated

The Immokalee High School boys basketball team defeated Okeechobee, 76-68, on Wednesday night to stay undefeated.

Hasahnn Reynolds and Izayel Louis Pierre scored 20 a piece, followed by Jodeci Chappa with 12 points and Deck Dutreuil with 10 points.

“Great win at home tonight against a good Okeechobee team," Immokalee coach Garrett Hull said. "We played great defense. Deck Duteuil came off the bench for us and had a huge game that gave us a spark.”

Immokalee (4-0) will play at Palmetto Ridge on Friday at 7 p.m.

RIVERDALE 79, ESTERO 67: No stats reported.

Estero (5-3) will host Dunbar on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

LEHIGH 68, NAPLES 34: No stats reported.

Naples (4-6) will play at Lely on Thursday at 7 p.m.

WRESTLING

NAPLES 44, LEHIGH 26: Jamie McGuire, Luis Herrera, Luis Castelion, and Sheneider Joseph all earned pins. Kyle Cassis earned a technical fall and Dominic Bartuccio picked up a last-second win.  

The Golden Eagles will compete at Lely on Saturday.
