Milwaukee family doesn't want stolen car back, just their dog Trixie

A car stolen on Milwaukee's south side over the weekend contained a family's dog.  

And the family wants Trixie, a pit bull, back.

Lillian Rivas told WITI-TV (Channel 6) on Tuesday that Trixie has a foot wound and a cone over her head and needs medicine to prevent an infection. Trixie was in a car belonging to Rivas' nephew, and when he left his workplace near S. 1st St. and S. Kinnickinnick Ave. last weekend, the car and Trixie were gone.

The family has spread the word on social media.
