Q: Your had surgery on your right wrist last week, and your arm's wrapped up pretty good. Can you explain what the procedure entailed?

Montgomery: I injured it Week 3 (against Cincinnati), and I was basically playing with one hand. I don't know how much you were paying attention, but I never really put the ball in my right hand. I never stiff-armed. I never used (the arm). Actually against Minnesota, when I bobbled that ball (trying to cross the goal line), that was kind of the reason why. But I just tried to play through it, and eventually the doctors were like - when I saw a specialist - he said, 'Yeah, you can't keep playing on this. You keep playing, you're going to make it worse.' Because it already had gotten a lot worse. And he said he wasn't sure that if I kept playing that he would have been able to fix it and it would have been normal again. So I was like, 'Alright, let's fix it. I'm young and I hope to play a long time in this league.' So we went in and fixed it. ... Everything went well.

Q: You had to rally and needed overtime to beat the Browns on Sunday. It wasn't the prettiest performance, but this is all about finding a way to get the 'W,' right?

Montgomery: That's it. Especially with what happened in the previous seasons - since I've been here the last two seasons. It doesn't matter how we get there, as long as we get to that second season in the playoffs and we take it from there one game at a time. If I remember correctly, was it the 2010 season when you guys won the Super Bowl? I think there were a lot of injuries. There was like a five-game or six-game winning streak just to get to the wild card to make the playoffs. And then you guys ended up winning the Super Bowl. So, it just seems like something Green Bay's really good at. Times like this.

Q: You had a rough debut with the two fumbles against Baltimore in Week 11 and playing time has been limited. How would you describe your rookie season?

Mays: I would say disappointment. Just because I had high hopes for my rookie season. It hasn't been what I thought it would be, but that's life. You've just got to keep pressing forward. So that's what I'll keep doing.

Q: What kind of energy lift would it be for the team if Aaron Rodgers is able to play this Sunday against Carolina?

Montgomery: Obviously, it would be huge. But I think the main focus is on who we've got that we know for sure is going to be in the game. And making sure that those guys know what to do so we can win this football game.
