Corey Lynch was found shot to death in Tempe in October 2017.

Tempe police have doubled down on efforts to find the killer of a 38-year-old Tempe man after an anonymous donor contributed $4,000 to the reward.

Corey Lynch, 38, was found shot in a Tempe apartment parking lot near Broadway Road and Priest Drive in October. A description of the shooter has not emerged in the two months since.

With the $4,000 donation, the reward for information leading to an arrest stands at $5,000.

Tempe police spokesman Sgt. Damon Despain said Sunday the department may have more information to release in the next few days.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-948-6377 or the Tempe Police Department at 480-350-8311.
