A GoFundMe page was created to raise money for the family of Jamie Ruth Daley, a Greene Township woman who was killed in a home on Mountain Shadow Circle the morning of Dec. 7

CHAMBERSBURG - Fundraising efforts are underway to help the family of a Greene Township woman who was killed at a home on Mountain Shadow Circle.

GoFundMe page was created on Dec. 9 after Jamie Ruth Daley, 46, was was found unresponsive around 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 7 on a neighbor's front porch by emergency personnel. Lifesaving measures were taken, but she was declared deceased at the scene. 

The fundraising effort was started by Tresa Day, who identified herself as Daley's sister in an email. It's goal is $5,000, and so far 46 people have donated and raised about $2,335 in the short time it has been active

The rear of the home in the 3700 block of Mountain Shadow Circle, Greene Township, where Jamie Ruth Daley was found around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7.

Those who donated have also left messages on the page, sending their prayers and condolences to the family and sharing their memories of Daley. 

"Everyone's life is better because of Jamie, especially all the animals she rescued :) Please help her amazing children and give what you can," Heidi Schweizer said on the page.
