5 Indianapolis employers make Glassdoor's 2018 'Best Places to Work' list

One Indianapolis-based company and four companies with large Indianapolis offices made Glassdoor's new "2018 Best Places to Work" list.

Indianapolis-based Eli Lilly and Company is ranked as the 52nd best place to work on the list. The company previously appeared on the 2012 list at No. 46.

"A company that truly care about their workers and about their employees. Great benefits and great atmosphere all around," a top comment on Glassdoor for Eli Lilly reads.

Eli Lilly made the list despite announcing thousands of buyouts and layoffs this year.

Currently, there are 181 jobs listed on Glassdoor based in Indianapolis.

San Francisco-based Salesforce is the highest ranking company on the list with a large employment footprint in Indianapolis. They appear at No. 15 on the 2018 list. Salesforce has appeared on Glassdoor's list eight times since 2009 with a highest ranking of 13th in 2011. It also finished as the fourth-best place to interview in 2017.

Salesforce currently lists 38 jobs and internships on Glassdoor in Indianapolis.

Kronos Incorporated, a workforce management company based in Lowell, Mass. with a large Downtown Indianapolis office, finished as the 63rd best place to work on the new list. This is Kronos' first appearance on the list. Kronos' CEO, Aron J. Ain, has appeared twice on Glassdoor's "Highest Rated CEOs" list, No. 54 in 2017 and No. 18 in 2016.

There are currently six Indianapolis-based jobs with Kronos listed on Glassdoor.

Los Angeles-based Capital Group operates a large office in Carmel. It earned a first-time appearance on Glassdoor's list, coming in at No. 58.

Capital Group currently has four openings listed on Glassdoor based in Indiana.

Swiss company Roche, who's U.S diagnostics arm is based in Indianapolis, finished in 59th place. Roche previously appeared on the list at No. 26 in 2015.

There are currently 18 Indianapolis-based Roche jobs listed on Glassdoor.

Several other companies operating in some capacity in Indiana also made the list. Southwest Airlines (No. 23), Nestle' Purina (No. 27), Chik-fil-A (No. 72), Toyota North America (No. 78) and Starbucks (No. 96) all appear on the list.
