In the mood for some Sinatra as the New Year arrives?

The Inn of the Mountain Gods will offer a show dubbed “Nostalgic,” performed by Ken Barry from 8  p.m. to midnight, Dec. 30 and Dec. 31, in the 1852 Treaty Room.

Ken Berry will perform Dec. 30 and Dec. 31 in the 1852 Treaty Room at the Inn of the Mountain Gods.

A regular performer at the Inn for three years, Barry promises a big serving of Sinatra, along with other nostalgic songs from Tony Bennett, Neil Diamond, James Taylor and many other famous music names.

“My New Year’s Eve show will include party favorites like music from KC and the Sunshine Band, Wild Cherry, Average White Band and more 70s boogie tunes,” he said. “Of course, with so many guests from Texas, I’ll stir in some George Strait, Dwight Yokum, Glen Campbell.”

Berry may be recognized by some as a performer in the first “Survivor” benefit at the Spencer Theater and as a master of ceremonies for the next two.

“I also was involved in the first Humane Society benefit at the Spencer, as a performer and MC. I was billed ‘The Singing Bartender’ years ago in articles in the Ruidoso News,” he said.

During the week, Berry works at Tina’s Café in the River Rendezvous shopping area and he performs during the summer on the patio.
