UT Vols: Former players happy to have Phillip Fulmer as athletic director
Tennessee announced Friday the appointment of Phillip Fulmer as director of athletics after suspending John Currie with pay.
As you can imagine, former players, especially the ones who played for Fulmer when he was coach of the Vols from 1992-2008, we're pretty happy.
Former players like Erik Ainge, Ramon Foster and Albert Haynesworth used Twitter to welcome back Fulmer.

Offensive lineman Brett Kendrick, who recently completed his career with the Vols, appeared to take a shot at UT chancellor Beverly Davenport, writing "She in over her head"
Davenport appeared with Fulmer at a press conference to announce the changes in leadership.
UT is still looking for a coach after firing Butch Jones on Nov. 12. The coaching search has been chaotic. UT resdshirt freshman quarterback Jarrett Guarantano posted a picture of golf tees and tea in a cup with a likely reference to former UT quarterback Tee Martin, who is the offensive coordinator at Southern Cal.
Martin, was the QB when Fulmer guided the Vols to the national championship in 1998.
There was plenty more former Vols celebrating Fulmer being named AD.
