Howard Johnson Orange Wednesday will feature 42 hotels across the United States and 17 hotels in Canada at 50% off on Orange Wednesday, December 4, 2013. There will be a limit of 3 reservations taken at each participating hotel on a first-booked order. Hotel stays must be completed by February 28, 2014 using this 50% savings offer.

What is Orange Wednesday you ask?

Orange Wednesday is December 4th, the first Wednesday after Thanksgiving in which travelers can save 50% off when they book up to a three night stay at participating Howard Johnson hotels. To book, just call one of the participating hotels directly using the numbers below and say you want to book the Orange Wednesday rate for an upcoming stay.

This special rate can only be booked between 12:01 AM EST through 11:59 PM EST on Wednesday, December 4th and only the first three travelers to call and book at each hotel will receive the discounted rate. Get those dialing fingers ready!

Howard Johnson is a hotel brand in Wyndham Rewards. You might also want to check out Wyndham Rewards 2,014 bonus point offer for stays through January 31, 2014. This 50% rate discount offer seems to me like it will also apply to the 2014 promotion.

On a personal note: Hey Mom & Dad, we can have a family reunion for 3 nights in Marina at $27 per night when you visit in December. That is even less than an IHG PointBreaks night. Being one of the first three reservations should be easy since the Orange Wednesday website has the wrong phone number for the Howard Johnson Marina.

Seriously though, there are some good Howard Johnson locations with low rates for Orange Wednesday reservations on December 4. I’ll try to remember and post this offer again on Tuesday, December 3.
