MADISON – Wisconsin’s football staff enjoyed a productive weekend on and off the field.

First head coach Paul Chryst saw his team remain unbeaten with a 24-10 victory over Michigan on Saturday.

Then came the news on Sunday that Logan Brown, 6-foot-6, 285-pound offensive tackle from Grand Rapids, Mich., had given UW an oral commitment for the 2019 class.

Brown had offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Alabama, Penn State, Louisville, North Carolina, Vanderbilt and Kentucky.

Brown is the third known commitment for UW’s 19 class.

The others are Leo Chenal, a linebacker from Grantsburg, and Graham Mertz, a quarterback from Overland Park, Kan.
