R&B artist Tank returns home to Milwaukee for Turner Hall Ballroom show with Leela James

Tank co-headlines Turner Hall Ballroom with Leela James Monday.

Every Thursday at 8 a.m. on WYMS-FM (88.9), 88Nine Radio Milwaukee program director Jordan Lee and I talk about shows to see, local music you'll love and more on "TAP'd In." But in case you missed it on air, you can hear the latest episode below.

Of all the artists born in Milwaukee, Tank is certainly among the most accomplished. He's had four albums hit the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 200, including his joint album with Ginuwine and Tyrese Gibson, and five songs that hit the top 10 on the US Adult Contemporary Singles chart. The late Aaliyah is among his noted collaborators, and his acting work includes a role on "The New Edition Story" miniseries earlier this year.

On Monday, Tank will be back in town with Leela James for a concert at Turner Hall Ballroom. Jordan and I preview the gig, plus shows this weekend with St. Vincent, and from local acts Telethon and Mike Mangione & the Kin.
