Leadership Lincoln class meets county officials in Carrizozo

Nine-month course aims to build community leadership skills

Participants in the Leadership Lincoln Class of 2017 met in Carrizozo, the county seat of Lincoln County, for their third class of the year.

The daylong sessions included presentations by the county officials including manager, treasurer, assessor, clerk, sheriff and district attorney.

The group were served a barbeque catered lunch at Tularosa Basin Gallery of Photography followed by a tour at Carrizozo Heritage Museum.

Class orientation was in September at the Nazarene Camp. In October, they met at Eastern New Mexico University-Ruidoso for a public education session.
