Man killed on I-94 was from Fitchburg

A man who was struck and killed on I-94 in Pewaukee after getting out of a disabled vehicle was identified by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office Wednesday as  Anthony Valenza, 31, of Fitchburg.

Valenza was struck shortly before 9 p.m. Nov. 7 in the westbound lane of I-94 near Pewaukee Road while attempting to cross the highway, according to the sheriff's office.

The accident remained under investigation Wednesday.
