I’m really feeling a bit for Benefit and their recall (of Gimme Brow). It means a lot of their Christmas sets have been pulled from shelves because they contained the brow product – they had some spectacular globes or giant baubles as well as a beautiful giant brow ‘wardrobe’ and most of them have had to go. What a nightmare. However, there are still some very decent sets around for die-hard Bene-fans, including the City Lights, Party Nights Set.
Inside, you’ll find a mini They’re Real (an amazing mascara – really good), a Brow Pencil (so no brow will go untended, even without Gimme Brow), a mini Double The Lip in a nude tone that lines and colours in one go, a mini Dandelion Twinkle powder (with brush) for light bronzing with shimmer and a lilac shade make up bag. I think it’s good value for £24.50 and even better that I’ve found it at LookFantastic for £20.83 with a free mini Roller Lash Mascara. It’s HERE. I think this set, based on the brow pencil shade which is light, would suit fairer tones.

What happened Jane? What’s the brow brouhaha about?
They did a voluntary recall on Gimme Brow because one ingredient (apparently) wasn’t up to (their own) standard. It won’t hurt you if you aren’t sticking it in your eye and just using on brows as intended.
