Bomani Jones torches Falcons again in epic rant

Andrew Joseph

Bomani Jones is making a one-week return to ESPN's Highly Questionable, and he wasted no time before tearing into his favorite target:

The Atlanta Falcons.

Last year, Jones went on an epic rant about how we cannot trust the Falcons, firing off a long list of meltdowns. That was before the Falcons went on to blow a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl, and this season hasn't fared much better for the Falcons. Atlanta is 4-4 and suffered a deflating loss to Carolina on Sunday in a game that included a stunning drop by all-world receiver Julio Jones.

Bomani managed to turn that drop into a story of perseverance.

He said:

"This is like his eighth year, right? And that's the first time he looked like a Falcon was in that moment right there. And do you realize how good you have to be to resist all that Falcon that gets all over you in seven years of playing for that team? Give that dude credit for an incredible immune system to go with those great hands and all of that speed."

That might not top the original, but it was still a solid roasting.
