Help sought to find three robbery suspects; one punched Estero store clerk, authorities say

Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying suspects who held up a south Lee County convenience store and knocked out a clerk Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017.

Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying three people they said held up a convenience store in Estero and knocked out a clerk Saturday.

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said two men and one female entered the 7-Eleven at Three Oaks Parkway and Corkscrew Road about a half-mile west of Interstate 75 just before 3:30 a.m.

After walking around the store for about 10 minutes, one of the robbers reached over the counter and punched a store clerk in the face, knocking him out, authorities said. The robbers then took several packs of cigarettes before leaving in a four-door vehicle, authorities said.

Anyone with information on the identities and whereabouts of the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000. Tips also can be made online at southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com or by submitting a tip on the P3Tips mobile app.
