It’s that time of year again—the One Two Free promotion from National Car Rental is back! This promo allows you to get extra points every time you rent, getting you to your dream trip even faster. Imagine what you could do with all of those extra points towards rentals–a romantic getaway, a girlfriend trip, or even a fun family day. Knowing that my work trips help fund fun trips definitely takes the sting out of being away from home.
A few months ago I was able to take a fabulous day trip into the Texas Hill Country to go wine tasting for my birthday. We rented a big car, and the Home Warrior spent the day driving me and my best girlfriends around to various wineries. (Yes, he is a very nice husband!) We had a great time, tasting delicious wine, eating fabulous food, and generally just enjoying being together. I can’t wait to go back, and renting from National right now will get us there even faster. (Pictured: The lavender fields at Becker Vineyards. Lovely!)

The newly redesigned One Two Free program allows Emerald Club members the ability to accrue points, to eventually earn a free rental – essentially, when you rent twice, you get the third one free. I’d love to wind national points however the last time you did a promotion with National that promised a free credit Nothing ever showed for either me or my wife. Several emails, and no response. I did another one with Hack mt trip IIRC got nada out of that either. and these were not drawings for credits. It was something like leave a travel tip, or why do you rent national, and you will get a free credit and also be entered into a drawing for something else. Why would they come through on this if they never honored thier previous promos?
