There is a new brand around Disneyland as the Hotel Indigo Anaheim Maingate replaces the Holiday Inn Express Maingate. Same location at 435 W. Katella, same hotel chain with InterContinental Hotels Group, but with a $5 million dollar makeover and brand change from the upper midscale Holiday Inn Express to the upscale Hotel Indigo.
Hotel Indigo Anaheim Maingate is a four story, 104-room property.
Hotel Indigo Anaheim Maingate is currently an IHG Rewards Club category 4 for 25,000 points per night or 15,000 points + $70 with Points & Cash.
The hotel’s IHG website still shows Holiday Inn Express photos for the property.
There are now six different IHG brands in the vicinity of Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm amusement parks. This makes a good location for a trip to fulfill the Big Win challenges for bonus points with the current promotion.
Hotel Indigo at $144 midweek in November has the highest rates by $30 of the Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites, Crowne Plaza, Candlewood Suites and Holiday Inn Express in the area.
