The SPG Hot Escapes site is live this week with 128 hotel offers for stays over the next six weeks. These discount rates must be booked by this Saturday, October 12 before midnight local time for the hotel being booked.

- New days for booking: Wednesday to Saturday.
- Hotels are available until midnight local time Saturday.
- Savings start at 20%.
- Extra 5% savings for SPG members.
- More hotels across the world to choose from each week.

Terms: HOT Escapes rates are prepaid, nonrefundable. SPG members receive an additional 5% off already-discounted HOT Escapes rate. This reservation must be booked by Saturday midnight local hotel time and paid in advance and totally nonrefundable.
Prepaid and Nonrefundable
The primary limitation to know about SPG Hot Escapes is these discount rates are prepaid at time of booking and totally nonrefundable.
Miss your hotel stay and you lose your money for the entire stay.
The 128 hotels available this week can be seen in one multiple page listing or via ten category types:
- Featured Deals (13 hotels)
- Beach (17 hotels)
- City (78 hotels)
- Romantic Getaway (32 hotels)
- Golf (6 hotels)
- Ski (1 hotel)
- Spa (13 hotels)
- Family (52 hotels)
- Resort (34 hotels)
- Outdoor Adventure (9 hotels)
Obviously some hotels are listed under multiple headings. If there is a pattern to the listings, I do not see it. The hotels are not listed by brand or geography.
SPG Hot Escapes City lists as the first three hotels
- Four Points by Sheraton Kingston, Ontario Canada
- Luxury Collection Hotel Bristol, Warsaw, Poland
- W Atlanta Downtown
This does not appear to be a list ordered alphabetically, geographically or by Starwood brand or price. The hotels appear to be a random list.
Discounts start at 20% and go deeper, including up to 51% off this week for bookings at the W Retreat & Spa Seminyak, Bali.
Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula, China is listed as 74% off at $82 for SPG members and the Naka Island Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Phuket, Thailand is listed as 73% off at $295 per night for SPG members.
Most hotel discounts in the USA are only 20%.
Searching hotels by geography
As seen in the webpage image above, the SPG Hot Escapes homepage allows users to search by destination. Entering a State or Country is the easiest way I see to filter the hotels.
California brings up ten hotels.
Bottom line is SPG has a new discount rate limited time offer with SPG Hot Escapes each Wednesday being posted for reservations made by Saturday night before midnight local hotel time.
Just remember that your Starwood Hotel Hot Escapes reservation is prepaid and nonrefundable.
