Welcome back to our final week!  This is it – week 4!

When this study ends – we will break until the new year.  I will announce our study for January 2018, in the month of December. So watch for that announcement here!

If you are looking for a Bible Study to do during the month of November and you have not done our Ecclesiastes Bible Study yet – I recommend you do it next.

Ecclesiastes is our most popular study!  Check out all of the free resources to go with this in-depth Bible Study  here: https://womenlivingwell.org/ecclesiastes-depth-bible-study-free-video-series/

If you have already done this study –  check out the other studies available on the GMG Resources Page.

Now let’s get to our final week of Rest and Release and finish strong!!!

Here is this week’s Bible Reading Plan:

Here are this week’s Personal Reflection Questions

Day 1

What is killing your heart? What is getting in the way of you experiencing the rest that Jesus offers you today?

Day 2

What verse brings you peace and rest when you are worried? Do you think others can see the peace of God in you?

Day 3

How has God restored your soul through your past 4 weeks in His word? Has anything changed inside of you?

Day 4

What is one trial God has faithfully brought you through and how does remembering God’s faithfulness remind you that you can trust him with today’s trials?

Day 5
In what ways can others see your strength, dignity and inner rest? What areas do you need to work on so others can see more of God in you?

This Week’s Challenge: Rest

Most of us rarely surrender to our weariness. I know this because you are probably like me. I mistakenly believe I can go and go and go without consequence.

My children have very busy sports and social lives. They have high goals in many areas of their lives and keeping track of all their needs, plus running a blog, connecting with loved ones, and running my home all alone, makes for an exhausting life.

It is a blessing to live in a day and age when we have so many options and opportunities but having the courage to say no to good things is necessary.

We must learn to say no to things that will cause us to miss out on the rest we were created to need.

Need.

Did you catch that?

Rest is a need – not a want.

Rest is not optional or something we will do when we are 65 and retired. Rest is a blessing from the Lord that He created us to need. Needing rest – is humbling. We have to admit that we are not superhuman and that we need to depend on God for strength. We all need rest. So let’s get started!

Week 4 Challenge

Determine to sleep extra long one night this week or to take a nap or a bubble bath. This is not pampering. This is meeting your God given need for rest.

Since I have overachiever tendencies (Lol!) , I am going to try to do all three this week.

The Verses of the Day:

I encourage you to choose which verse you’d like to memorize or meditate on.  The printable below includes all 5 verses of the day — for the entire week!  Print and cut them out and put them in the bathroom, kitchen, beside your bed and computer and use them for meditation throughout the week.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. – Joshua 1:8
